Every now and then, I run into an inexpensive stone that is so beautiful that I get carried away. This 22 carat citrine is so clear that you can see the wire behind it. From a straight jewelry viewpoint, that makes it a slightly less valuable stone. However, I was so impressed with this stone that I set it in a 6-wire band, 4-925 sterling and 2-14/20 gold wires, and got quite elaborate, as I visualized it on a very powerful lady as she was presenting herself to her wonderful friends. Were I allowed my true feminine self, I would be proud to wear this piece. Amazingly, it only costs $185.
